Clotted Cream Run

Plan:

1. Ace for breakfast (monthly Porsche one)

2. Meet up point is The Lord Derby again @ 10:45 to leave at 11am

3. Off down the M3, A303

4. Stop for fuel at the Shell Garage near Yeovil, then cross the dual carriageway again and pop down to The Lamb Inn, Tintinhull for lunch @ 1pm

5. Get back on the A303 and follow it until it becomes the A30, then follow the A30 from Honiton to Exeter

6. Take the M5 down to junction 31 and then rejoining the A30

7. Turn off after a few miles at Bakers Hill, and follow signs for Longdown

8. Enter Dartmoor National Park, follow signs for Dunsford, Doccombe, Moretonhampstead, Two Bridges

9. At Two Bridges, turn right towards Merrivale, Moorshop, Tavistock

10. At Tavistock, head to Gunnislake, Pengelly, Liskeard

11. At Liskeard take the A38 and then the A390 to The Restormel Lodge Hotel, Lostwithiel

12. Could go to St Austell for early dinner perhaps? Or cream teas near Lands End or similar.

13. Or stay at the hotel and eat and drink (and watch Ben get drunk) and be merry

14. There's even a swimming pool i believe, so if the weather's nice we could just chill out by the pool!

15. Sunday morning there is a choice of the Camel Motor Club hillclimb in Lostwithiel, or just six miles away the Eden Project...
